Brush Burning Season January 15 to May 1

Massachusetts allows residents to burn brush between January 15 and May 1, depending on weather conditions.
You must have a permit to burn brush!



It is important to note that during a power outage, National Grid may not be aware of your individual situation. Make sure they are aware of your loss of power by calling them at 800-322-3223. Also, please call the Egremont Police Department so they are aware of possible downed power lines, etc. They can be reached at 413-528-2160.
